This is an adult medium hat knitted in the Barley pattern from Tin Can Knits. It should fit a head with a circumference of 22.5 inches (57cm), including hair. It will stretch to fit a head of 24 inches (61cm) easily. It’s a little on the slouchy side, not quite a beanie. This hat was knitted with hand dyed, handspun yarn, comprise of a blend of BFL (blue faced leicester)/tussah silk, 70/30. It was spun worsted and made into a 3-ply yarn.

The many properties of wool mean that they retain freshness in between washes, so they are friendly to the environment and don’t give you extra laundry.
