Hand Carded Batt: After the Party
Zwartbles is a medium coarse wool with lots of versatility. Due to this wool being carded, the fibers will produce a loftier, softer yarn than when spun from combed top. The staple length is between 3-4 inches, and due to its larger micron (around 30 microns) size, it'll be more durable than finer wools.
It has been carded with small amounts of the following (some hand dyed by me): ryeland, sari silk, peduncle silk, and yak down. Also contains angelina fibers and tinsel for added sparkle.

Wash in cold water by hand; reshape and lay flat to dry. Be sure to set your yarn in warm soapy water with no agitation. Rinse thoroughly and block if desired. Do not scour or raise above 180F or else the silk will lose its luster.
